About this piece
A banjo-shaped barometer in an oak case with a silvered dial and a thermometer above. The mercury is intact and it responds to weather. The case has shrinkage cracks consistent with its age and a replacement bezel screw.
Where it came from
Tap the glass and the needle moves, which is the only test anybody ever really does.
