I have always had an eye for the piece other people walk straight past. I hunt through estate sales, country auctions and dusty back rooms for the rare, the odd and the quietly beautiful — and whatever I bring home, you will find here. Every piece is one of a kind, described exactly as it is — and I photograph each one myself, marks and all. Where a piece is newly in and has not had its picture taken yet, the card says so; write to me and I will photograph it for you before you buy.

How buying works
- One of each. Nothing here has a second one in the back. When a piece sells, it is gone.
- Honest about condition. Marks, repairs and wear are written down, never hidden — and photographed too, once a piece has had its picture taken. Ask me for photographs of anything here and I will take them for you.
- I buy, too. Something you have inherited, or a box you are clearing out and cannot make sense of? Write to me — I buy privately, and if it is not for me I will still tell you what I think you have. Tell me what you have.
- Packed by hand, posted from Canada. Prices include delivery within Canada — a few large pieces are the exception and say so on their page. Somewhere else? Write to me and I will quote it honestly. What delivery and returns look like.
