Edwardian Tortoiseshell Card Case
c. 1905 · England
This piece is available at $210 CAD. Delivery anywhere in Canada is already in that price — there is nothing extra to pay.
Paying by card on the site is not switched on yet, so I arrange each sale myself: write to me and I will confirm the piece is still here, photograph it for you, put it on hold while you think, and tell you how to pay. I will say in that note exactly how to pay and what the total is, and nothing is paid until you have agreed it. I will never ask you for a card number, and I will never ask you to pay in gift cards.
I am Sally, and I answer every message myself, usually within a day or two. If you need it by a particular day — a birthday, a wedding — tell me the date in your note and I will say straight away whether it can be done. Outside Canada? Write anyway and I will quote the carriage honestly before you commit to anything.
How delivery and returns work.
About this piece
A slim card case in tortoiseshell with a silver escutcheon, never engraved with initials. The hinge is tight and the lid closes with a proper click. One hairline crack runs about a centimetre from the lower edge and is stable.
Where it came from
Sold as an antique and staying in Canada. I do not ship this one across a border, and I would rather say so plainly here than discover it at the post office.
